Vestre Fjordpark in Aalborg

The old enclosed open-air swimming pool in Aalborg has been torn down and replaced by a large water activity area. The project is the first to receive support from the Danish Foundation for Culture and Sports Facilities’ special efforts regarding “the setting of active outdoor activities in enhanced landscapes”. These efforts tackle developing projects where activities and natural resorts complement each other so that the Danes’ strong urge to be active in a natural setting is supported in an optimal fashion.
