Therefor they created “Around Røsnæs” consisting of 13 landmarks all in all, that tells about the ness (headlands) nature and makes it more accessible.
The efforts reached so far that the municipality of Kalundborg chose to join the action to make sure it was implemented. The Danish Foundation for Culture and Sports Facilities chose to fund two buildings that are part of the “Around Røsnæs” tour. One of the buildings is an activity house on the harbour of Røsnæs on the northside of the headlands. The other building is a nature space near Kongstrup Cliffs on the southside.
Both buildings combine a strong architectural and appealing expression with great functionality aimed at the different user groups. In the activity house it is sailors, kayakers, winter bathers, surfers, anglers and cyclists and in the open nature space it is all kinds of outdoor people, hikers and cyclist.
