To a lot of modern scouts, it takes much more to an exciting outdoor life than a great scout house. That is why this project was based on transforming the 5.000m2 large area in Sorring forest to a varied activity space for scouts, that I a greater extent allows the older scouts the opportunity to be active and sleep outdoors.
a group of tall trees in the area is equipped with platforms and treetop shelters at 8m altitude. The platforms and the tree top shelters are connected to each other and the ground via ropes, rope ladders and climbing paths. Furthermore, a 100m long ropeway is built.
Parts of the ground has been drained and fruit bushes has been planted. The scout house on the ground will be used as base for outdoor activities and as sleeping area for the youngest scouts. A 200m2 outdoor kitchen will be built in addition to the main house.
