The club island in Vejle is built on piles by the new marina. It has solved a space issue for the yachting clubs that arose when they had to move away from the quay edge to make room for new builds in connection with the urban development of the harbour area.

The club island houses club rooms, workshop, restaurant and harbour master’s office. Stairs and terraces can be used for both lounging and for physical activity. The facilities are not only for the members of the maritime clubs. Many of the club island’s possibilities can be used by guest yachtsmen, self-organised athletes, recreational clubs and passers-by in the new urban harbour in Vejle.
